- Open any Internet browser and paste in the public DNS URL you copied from the launched instance in the AWS Management Console window, or from your Ghost CFS server in your Rightscale deployment. You are now talking to your Ghost CFS EC2 server and you should see this screen:
- In this page, you need your "Activation Code" from the page you left open in the previous step. (If you are launching a second or subsequent EC2 instance, then you will not need this code, instead the PID and User Token are required). If more than an hour has passed please get a fresh code first click here to get a new one and press "Generate Key" opposite "Ghost Cloud FS (S3 Service)"

- The system will start the activation process. This might take up to 15 minutes during which time you will see "system is pending".
- Once the activation process is finished, you see the following page to enter a "Domain Name" for your instance, the AWS Access Key you copied from your Security Credentials in step 1, and the AWS Secret Key (if you have lost these log into http://aws.amazon.com and select Your Account/Security Credentials).

- The system will start configuring your instance as seen in the following screenshot. This process might take 10-15 minutes.

- Finally, you will be asked to create the Admin account used to manage the Ghost CFS product. Once you create it, you will be directed to the following main admin page where you can create users, manage quota, configure FTP and SSH.

- Congratulations your Ghost Cloud File System is live. and you have just one user so far called admin with the password you chose. Some quick notes to get you started:
